Pippa Middleton recently made headlines after being photographed in an Audi convertible in Paris sitting next to a driver brandishing what appears to be weapon in broad daylight and her friend has since apologized for the incident. Miley Cyrus' long-awaited "LOL," which was intended to be her vehicle to transition into more grown-up roles, has apparently not gotten much attention from Lionsgate who acquired the domestic distribution rights. "LOL," which was filmed in 2010 finally received a limited release date for May 4 and had little promotion. According to the Los Angeles Times, the film narrowly avoided going straight-to-DVD due to a contract with foreign distributors which stipulates that the film must be shown in at least 100 theaters domestically. The movie, which is based on a 2008 French film of the same name, stars Cyrus as Lola, a high school girl growing up in the era of social networking who is dumped by her boyfriend and is subsequently pursued by her best friend Kyle, portrayed by Douglas Booth. Mariah Carey debuted her bikini body on the May cover of Shape magazine, after losing 30 pounds in six months on the Jenny Craig weight loss program.   The 42-year-old singer posed on the cover in a bikini bottom and off-the-shoulder striped crop top (pictured above opposite a August 2010 photo of the singer). Carey was named Jenny Craig's latest Brand Ambassador and started their program in late July, three months after giving birth to twins.
